Hi...well I guess I will start blogging nowadays..after all those excuses, finally!!Why start now u ask?Well, I actually just remembered that I wanted to do this for a very long time. I was supposed to be studying now for my finals this coming Thursday, but "yawn...."Anyway, I was at Mid Valley today immediately after work with Faiz and Am minding our own business. Me as usual went hunting for CD like I have never seen a CD in my life!!!Not really, music is in my blood. As what they say, being a Filipino and music is like oxygen!
Earlier on, I downloaded the song "Beribu Sesalan" both normal version and acoustic from the 3 suara trio comprised of Jaclyn Victor (I so loved this woman's voice), Ning Baizura and Shila OIAM. This is a beautiful ballad that should go well for anyone who just broke up. Boleh bikin nangis beb!!! Let me point out that this should be a soundtrack for one of our local movies.Immediately after downloading from Digi web portal and paying like RM5 for each versions (I actually did not intend to download 2 versions, but because being a little impatient and 'Dungu' as I don't see it downloading, I purchased another version instead!-but I glad I did!) I sms Aunty Maggie (Jaclyn Victor's mum) as I always do when I buy Jac's album or get hold on news about Jac's upcoming projects.
Back to the Mid Valley update, we went for makan at our favourite "Yong Tau Foo" shop at LG Floor and then I went buying another 2 CDs at a promotional price of RM 50, I bought Christina Aguilera's Keeps Getting Better and Whitney Houston's The Greatest Hits (Double CD). Did I mention I am a CDMANIAC?Yes I did!Hehe..All smiles 'cause I am happy and eagerly waiting to take a listen to it.Guess what? I have both those CD's before!HAHA..Crazy enough???Well...actually, I bought Christina's CD previously from a Hadyai trip and it was actually pirated.So, being me, I would never be satisfied with a pirated version (If you compare the original and the pirated it is nearly the same).As for Ms Whitney Houston, I bought the double CD way back then, so it is kind of worn out looking.So since they was this promotion and I thought that a new CD would sound great, so I bought it.You might say that it's old school, but yet, she was one of the best singing voice way back then.
Continue my journey, minus Am (He went back home already by 7.50pm), went to Carrefour to get some food for the next day as I am on my study leave, so need to stock up food.Headed back home after that and enjoyed my CDs very much!A short blog but hey,..it's just a start for more blogs to come...thanks for reading..BA
